As the Chief Fermentation Officer of this award-winning resort, he makes some of my favorite beer (and I’m not just saying that because he’s sitting across from me). The Blackberry Farm saisons are some of the best representations of the style you’ll find, and Roy is one of the best people to drink them with.

I know why the late Sam Beall brought him to the farm to make beer -- he is one of the good people, and you just gotta be around that. Add beer to that equation? Well, you’ll see. We have fun talking yeast strains and more, and let’s face it, I’m pretty much a Roy groupie.
